Scald Law is the highest of the Pentlands; this classic approach reaches it via a very fine switchback ridge, taking in the shapely Carnethy Hill along the way. The return follows the minor road by the Loganlea and Glencorse Reservoirs.

 

The day was cold but dry with good views on the ascent but none from the top unfortunately.  However the good company and laughter made up for the poorer weather and it was a fresh and uplifting time together.
