Before 2020 I had barely explored Scotland’s hills. Then I discovered two tools that changed everything: the Walkhighlands website and the OS Maps app. Together they gave me the confidence to explore stunning routes across Scotland without fear of getting lost. In this post I explain how I use them to plan hikes, download GPX routes, and safely discover some of Scotland’s most beautiful places.
